For the recent shortage in water part of Taiwan has started the policy of saving (limiting) water usage. This morning (6th) Air Force HQ, according to the weather forecast, dispatched two C-130 aircrafts from Pingtung base to the aerial of Taoyuan and Hsinchu for cloud seeding. It was expected to increase the rainfall and relieve the water shortage. Air Force HQ emphasized that due to the present climate change the water resource is valuable. In the future the personnel and equipment will be ready to cooperate with Water Resources Agency to apply cloud seeding.
